Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

Holidays
The Transfer Station is closed on holidays.

Acceptable Items
A reasonable amount of brush, scrap metal, leaves, or any other item normally accepted by the Town. Noncompactible items such as roofing and building materials will be accepted for a fee. Glass containers, plastic, paper, corrugated cardboard, aluminum cans, rinsed steel (tin) cans, etc. may be taken to the Recycle Center on Ridgeway Avenue.

Items Not Accepted
Paint cans will not be accepted. Paint cans and other household hazardous liquids (drain cleaners, oven cleaners, herbicides, insecticides, etc.) be taken to the City of Chattanooga's household hazardous waste facility on North Hawthorne Street (second Saturday's from 8 a.m. - noon).

Identification Needed
Citizens must have identification that verifies they are a resident of the Town of Signal Mountain to use the Transfer Station. Non-residents must have a nonresident card available at Town Hall.

Fees
THESE FEES ARE TO BE COLLECTED AT THE TOWN HALL BEFORE BEING TAKEN TO THE TRANSFER STATION. (Dumping charges may be changed without reprinting this document.)

*Non-Residents will pay a fee once a year and then pay the resident fee for individual items.
